One way for Touch Therapy practitioners to stay up-to-date in their field is to read current articles and research papers on their profession. This is where journals, magazines and newsletters come in to play by providing articles with information valuable to their professional readership. Massage Therapy MagazinesThe primary focus of Massage magazines is on the Massage Therapist with training in classical Swedish massage techniques. Other forms of touch therapy may be mentioned but practitioners of those modalities are not always subscribers as articles focused on their profession are few and far between. Bodywork and Complementary Therapy MagazinesBodywork magazines may cover massage therapy as well as many other forms of touch therapy such as Shiatsu, Cranial therapy, Lymph therapy, Reflexology and more. Some magazines focus on one specific form of touch therapy and are commonly subscribed to by practitioners of that style. Complementary Therapy magazines will combine topics such as chiropractic, acupuncture and touch therapies.
