Are you a skeptic? Foot reflexology is not that widely utilized in North America, and people are still quite skeptical of this practice.

Why do I believe in foot reflexology? I was a sceptical once. I know that it seems a bit far-fetched that something so simple like pressing on a particular spot on your foot can miraculously make the pain go away in your neck or back. I believe, because I have seen first-hand how it works. I had the privilege of working on hundreds of feet, perhaps 1000’s by now. What my scepticism did, was bring to me all kinds of people, from all walks of life, with all kinds of health-related problems. I humbled myself and learned from every person that came to me for assistance. I learned that stress played a really big part in creating tension in the body; and that tension could manifest in a variety of ways and could ultimately cause some sort of disease. I learned that pain can often cause more stress and tension in the body, so finding ways to both alleviate pain and bring relaxation was particularly useful for those who had been suffering with chronic pain. I learned that foot reflexology charts were quite accurate and that the reflexes in the feet could become particularly sensitive if there were areas of greater stress. I learned that when you work the feet, you can relax, ease pain and discomfort, and bring grounding and balance back, often within a very short period of time.
