Hi...I'm interested in anyone that is willing to post a testimonial regarding a reflexology treatment that has either helped a situation or has made the situation worse. Thank you.

I have hundreds of anecdotal testimonials that I could share with you. Do you have a specific health condition in mind? Please let me know if you do.

For now, I can tell you that many of my clients have had great results in headache relief, usually within 30 minutes. The major focus is on the head, neck and spine region. The big toe represents the head region and there are usually many very tender reflexes to be found when you have a headache. As you work these reflexes, they become less tender and you will feel your headache lift. I can't say I have had much luck in treating my own headaches as you really need to be relaxed and in a relaxed position, and to have it done by a reflexologist or by someone who knows the basics about reflexology. I believe that 50% of the benefits of reflexology is relaxation. When you are more relaxed, the body can find its own rhythm again.

I'd also like to hear about other reflexology experiences.

When my stress levels soar through the roof (a lot), I get the most incredibly painful toothaches, where it almost feels like there's an exposed nerve or someone's got some kind of crazy electro-shock torture session going on in my mouth. Yet my teeth themselves are fine, and noone can figure it out... just my body's response I guess. No amount of painkillers work, even after being prescribed strong ones by a dentist a few years back. I'm not a fan of taking pills for anything anyway, so I gave reflexology a try. It's the only thing that worked to give me instant relief. Now I use it as one option for headaches (I still find hot cocoa to be the best for them though, at least for me), and back pain when I overexert myself working out, in addition to stretching. I wish I'd started using it much sooner. happy
