» Sylvia Carlson - Hi there,
In response to Hi there, posted by glimmer10:Thanks for your feedback. I just wanted to tell you that you are not alone. Most people are nervous before having a massage. But just so you know, massage therapists are trained to help you relax and to make you feel more comfortable about the whole idea of having a massage.
Massage therapists actually massage each other at massage school, so they too have to go through the same experience of being uncomfortable. My suggestion is to first try a type of massage or bodywork that won't require you to disrobe like reflexology or acupressure. It's a really good way to get more comfortable with it all. Hope this helps.
